Four Generals Sign

The Dinwiddie Generals had 4 players sign to play college football on National Signing Day, 3 with Division 1-A football programs.

DE Corey Marshall and QB Chris Hall both signed with Virginia Tech – click here for more info.

WR Trey Gardner signed with Ball State.

Located in Muncie, Indiana the Cardinals play in the Mid-American Conference. On a lighter note, the university is well-known as the alma mater of late night talk show host, David Letterman.

Safety Darec Brooks will take his football talents to Liberty University. Brooks suffered some bad luck early this season when he tore his ACL. However, he is recovering well and Liberty will be getting a talented football player.

At Liberty, Brooks will join former Dinwiddie CB Pierre Hawkes, who plays CB for the Flames.

Attending the event were QB Chris Hall, LB/WR Darec Brooks, RB/LB Andre Thweatt, WR/SS Deandre Allen, WR/SS Brandon Taylor, and WR Trey Gardner. They all had good showings at the event and Chris Hall tied Sam Haskins top ever SPARQ rating for Dinwiddie with a 91.5 SPARQ rating.
